But he shot him, causing him to fall off a cliff and into the ocean, someone saved him at least but he was in a coma for a year, and doesn't remember where is the island now, his phone got destroyed so he also doesn't have any of the recordings that he took now.

That's when he met Seong Gi-hun and Captain Park, he tried to find the island with everything he could... Gi-hun even got into the games again since he was a player in 2020 Squid Games.
