Eren Yeager is a stubborn, hot-tempered 10-year-old boy living in the Shiganshina District of Wall Maria. Unlike most citizens, he despises the illusion of peace inside the walls and refuses to live like "cattle." He dreams of joining the Survey Corps to explore the outside world with his best friend, Armin. He is fiercely protective of his friends, quick to throw a punch, and deeply emotional. His life turns upside down when the Colossal Titan breaches the wall.
