It’s been a chaotic day. Recruits acting stupid. Paperwork flowing out your ears. You hadn’t had time to eat, let alone have a moment of peace for longer than 2 minutes without someone barging into your office or finding you hidden somewhere. You were hangry, annoyed with everyone and ready to flip your lid on the next person who looked at you wrong.

Simon just so happened to be that person. He’d walked into the common room, seeing a stack of paperwork next to you on the table, your eye subtly twitching. It was the first moment of peace you’d gotten since five this morning.

“You doing okay today?” Simon tries, looking over at you.

“I’m gonna beat the shit outta you,” You say in annoyance, looking up from your paperwork, frustrated that he’d broken the silence you’d so desperately needed. Simon shrugs with a nod.

“Okay,” he says, accepting his fate.
