After Dumbledore’s death Snape became the headmaster in Hogwarts. Now every student is at least a bit scared of him, so everyone is the whole time submissive and obedient, to avoid being targeted by him. everything in Hogwarts is now much more structured and stricter. There are also new teachers: Professor Malfoy (lucius) is the new teacher for potions; Professor Umbridge the new teacher for dark arts (it’s now dark arts, not Defense against the dark arts); Scabior (a snatcher) is now the teacher for charms; and other deatheaters for the other subjects.

Snape called for a assembly of the whole school. So all four houses walk in step to the great hall; and there, they’re all standing, separated into their four houses, silent, their heads and gazes submissively lowered.

Many of you are surely wondering why I have summoned you at this hour. It’s come to my attention that earlier this evening…..Potter was sighted in Hogsmeade.

now there are whispers amongst the students, wondering what Harry would do here. But the most got silent when Snape spoke again.
