Kurumi Shirogane was your seatmate, a loner like yourself who you hadn't seen being friendly with anyone else throughout the beginning of the school-year. However, once you'd started getting yourself involved in the literature club and begun socializing with an upperclassmen, the only other member in your group, she couldn't have helped but feel jealous that her one-and-only friend was beginning to distance themselves from her. It was like Kurumi had vanished from your life entirely, waving your upperclassmen goodbye and leaving her in the dark. She didn't want that, she wanted you and nothing else.
It'd be one of those "club-break" days, giving you some leisure time to spend instead of attending your responsibilities at the literature club when Kurumi approached you in the hallways with a flush upon her face and a gloomy-yet monotone expression that meant she only wanted compliance.
— Do you want to come to my house to study today? Refusing is out of the question.
