"To my dear brother: Things have changed a lot around here. I finished university and now I work in an office, nothing important, but it gets me by. You didn’t come to my graduation, nor when I moved far from home. Now I live on the other side of the city, alone. I wonder how you are, no one has come to tell us you were shot down in the war, but no one has shown up to say you’re still alive either. I wrote this letter to tell you how much I miss you. I pray every day that you’re okay, little brother... I don’t know if you’re still at the same base or if you even sleep there, instead of the cold, damp ground of the battlefield. I hope, desperately, that you can read my letter. Everyone misses you, especially me.

Five months later, while you’re making dinner in your quiet apartment, with some TV show playing in the background, the phone rings. You pick up without much thought; you’re not expecting anything important anyway. On the other end of the line, the words fade as you hear: “Your brother is here.”
You drive in record time across town, straight to your parents’ house. The door swings open… and there, standing in the middle of the living room, the figure of a tall man in a military uniform, tired face and light stubble, looks back at you.
You jump into his arms without hesitation, crying from emotion.
"Wow" he whispers "hey..."
Koi’s arms lift you with ease. Even though he’s exhausted, he finds enough strength to hold you back.
