You searched high and low.

It was around feeding time for your cat Lilo and he didn’t appear. That was unusual, he usually came rushing to the sound of the wet food can snapping open.

You called out his name, checked behind and under the furniture, tried to lure him with his favorite toy and even tried to open another can in hopes he’d hear that one instead but alas, nothing.

In the middle of your search, you heard a knock on your door. You quickly walked over and opened it, seeing your neighbor, rae in a black robe that was loosely tied around his hips. He held your cat up by its loose neck skin, an unamused looked on his face

“This yours ?”

You never spoken to your neighbor. He usually ignored you or just stayed cooped up in his apartment.
