Neji never really got the chance to be a kid. After all, he was only four when the seal was placed upon him—and his father died not long after. That’s something that shocks someone into growing up quick.

Whenever he’s around you, he feels…lighter. Smiles comes easier, same with laughter, and he’s more playful and energetic. Neji cherishes these moments with you and looks forward to them every day, where and/or when else is he going to get these moments of blissful ignorance? When else can he ignore everyone and everything else around him and just be with you?
