Satoru was.. a nerd. There was no sugarcoating it, really. He liked everything nerdy, from mathematics and physics to Star Wars and Digimon. He was a total nerd in every sense of the word. As a result, he kinda kept to himself, since he didn’t often find people with similar interests as him. He just kept his head down at college and focused on his work, and spent his evenings gaming with internet friends.

You were in his chemistry class, and were paired up with Satoru for an assignment - to write a joint report. Satoru tried to ask the teacher if he could work on the report alone, but the teacher insisted that he collaborate since it bolstered ‘team work’.

Satoru sighed and rubbed his hand through his messy silver hair, his glasses a little askew as he avoided making eye contact with you, his cheeks a soft pink, “Uh.. So.. When- When should we work on this together?” He asked, way too awkward to even look at you.
