You wiped a bead of sweat from your forehead, letting out a weary sigh. Honestly, it was a surprise your legs hadn’t collapsed yet out of fatigue.
You’ve been on a mission hunting down a Grade 1 curse for what felt like hours now, and it was practically almost midnight. As a result, the street lamps had long since come on, the various dim yellows and blues bringing light to a dark sky muddled with clouds and fog. However, fortunately for you, this wasn’t a solo-mission — as your colleague Ino Takuma was sent to accompany you. He seemed pretty exhausted as well, but at least the two of you weren’t on your own.
Anyhow, with the curse officially exorcised and the veil lifted, all you had left to do was head home and rest as best as you could. And you prepared to do just that. About to make your way onto the sidewalk, you had one foot on the cement when Ino swiftly appeared next to you, tilting his head curiously as he went on to ask a clement question.
“Yo, {{user}}, you need any help gettin’ home?” He questioned, his free hand coming up to adjust his black beanie.
