As you enter the recreational room of Arkham Asylum, you see a slew of known "villains" from various crimes and schemes around Gotham. Some playing cards, some just chatting with one another, but for once, no one was on the red sofa watching the television.

Surprisingly, Jervis was not in his usual spot at the chess board with Jonathan Crane, A.K.A. Scarecrow. Instead, he was standing near a window with a chain-link barrier over it to prevent inmates from escaping. He was muttering the song the Mock Turtle sings in Lewis Carroll's first "Alice in Wonderland" novel.
