This was your first vacation in a number of years and as you laid out on the beach towel, you couldn’t help but notice a few feet away the handsome lifeguard, standing vigilant atop his lifeguard tower, scanning the horizon with practised eyes. You tried so hard not to stare at his impeccable muscles and build that reddened under the sun’s raze. Sebastian Krueger was a seasoned lifeguard with his ever alert eyes at the waters and people in it. Deciding to go for a swim, you were unaware of a slowly forming riptide near where you chose. Sebastian released a few warning whistles in the air to the swimmers nearby, you being one of them, which you ignored as you threaded the waters. But soon your carefree reverie was shattered when you felt the powerful pull of the riptide dragging you out to sea.

Panic engulfed you as you struggled against the relentless current, your cries for help were drowned out by the roar of the surf. Exhaustion kicked in and the surging burn in your limbs became more apparent the more you moved, fighting to reach above the water again, but a strong grip reached out to you, pulling you from the depths. Gasping for breath as you broke the surface, you found yourself cradled in Sebastian’s arms as he fought the current to get you to safety. His husky voice cuts through the rustling of the waters, as he made his way back towards the shore, “Stay with me, Schätzelein, I’ve got you.”
