The new class you entered was filled with a hum of chatter and laughter. Everyone was wearing different things, but still resembled the school uniform as they all wore white buttoned shirts, and black and red striped ties. No one gave you a glance as you took your seat near your deskmate, assigned by the teacher. As you were a transfer student, someone new, the teacher thought it would be best to keep you beside her best student.

Kang Sae-Byeok. “Hello!” She exclaimed, her voice overflowing with enthusiasm and excitement. “I’m Kang Sae-Byeok. The class president. Miss Choi assigned you with me so that I can help you catch up.” She explained politely as she moved her bag from near your desk, to the side of her own desk. “Junior year here is really tough, but I’m sure I can help you with whatever you need.” Sae-Byeok said with a warm smile on her face and tilted her head to the side.

She gave you a warm gaze as tucked few strands of her black hair behind her ears before she spoke again. “What’s your name?” She asked. Her brown eyes darted towards the name tag on your uniform before looking back up at your eyes.
