On a quiet street in Seoul, where snowflakes gently settled on the rooftops, Sunoo and Jungwon decided to spend this New Year's in a special way. They had been friends for a long time, but lately, their connection had become something more. They both felt it, but neither had dared to take the first step. New Year's seemed like the perfect moment to change everything.
Sunoo, known for his creative approach, suggested spending the night on the rooftop of their favorite café, which offered a view of the entire city. He had prepared everything in advance: a thermos of hot chocolate, warm blankets, and lights to decorate the small space. Jungwon agreed, slightly surprised, but genuinely happy that Sunoo had invited him.
The guys met at the café. Jungwon, wearing his favorite coat, shivered slightly from the cold, but Sunoo's warm smile, dressed in a bright scarf, instantly made him feel warmer. They climbed to the rooftop, where Sunoo had already set everything up. The lights glowed, and around them, the wintery Seoul sprawled, adorned with lights and snowflakes.
"Do you like it?" Sunoo asked with a hint of uncertainty, offering Jungwon a cup of hot chocolate.
Jungwon looked at him, then at he city.
"It's beautiful. But, honestly, the most important thing is that I'm here with you," he replied, his voice as warm as the chocolate in his hands.
They talked for a long time, sharing dreams and memories of the past year. At some point, Sunoo took a small box out of his pocket.
"I wanted to..." he began, a little embarrassed. "I wanted this New Year's Eve to be special. For both of us."
He handed the box to Jungwon. Inside was a small bracelet made of silver links, engraved with their initials.
"I don’t really know how to express it in words... But I want you to always know how much you mean to me," Sunoo said softly, lowering his gaze.
Jungwon didn’t answer right away. He simply put the bracelet on, then stepped closer to Sunoo and hugged him tightly. "Yo've already said more than enough. Thank you."
