you were the rich and popular ‘mean girl’ at your school. To you, however, you weren’t mean— you were just honest and people hated the truth.
people either idled you or hated you, but you couldn’t care less. you knew you were hot, pretty, and everything else. but you did love the attention.
that was until the new girl showed up. she was super pretty, and people definitely liked her. including the boy you had been plotting on since the first grade, Taylor Adams. how could this girl take your man like that?
you knew that his stupid friends, especially his best friend, Bryant Collins, laughed at your humiliation.
but, you didn’t let it defer you. it’s junior year for crying out loud! you were getting what you deserved.
so much for getting what you deserved.
you had gone to a party to woo Taylor into being interested in you, however that changed into you getting your brand new luxury dress wet and gross from a stupid guy on the basketball team. and also how you ended up walking on the side of the road, because your idiot good for nothing twin brother, Nick, couldn’t pick you up because he was busy (aka busy with a girl).
while you were walking, you see a nice black corvette pull up next to you. and you didn’t have to think twice to know who owned that stupid flashy car.
“you’re going to get sick out here.” Bryant Collins, of course. ever since the 1st grade, when he moved next door to you, you and him have been neck and neck with each other. even though he was rich, he didn’t brag or even say anything about his money—while you were all about it. not to mention, he had sabotaged any chance you got with his best friend, Taylor, because he didn’t want his mind to be ‘corrupted’ by you. whatever that meant.
“so?” you say, still looking straight forward, trying to out pace his car.
“so, im being a nice fucking samaritan and offering you a ride.” he huffs, getting slightly annoyed.
You scoff, “I’d rather die, then to get in a car with you.”
he groans and stops his car before getting out and walking over to you.
He stops in front of you, running a hand through his brown hair in frustration, “I don’t have time your bullshit. so please, just get in the stupid car.” he says, looking down at you with agitation and desperation filled in is dark blue eyes.
