(You're Bruce)

Bruce Yamada and Vance Hopper. Two complete opposites.

One was the Golden Boy of the town, North Denver. A baseball player. Everybody loved him.

The other was North Denver's biggest punk and bully. Probably had a few run-ins with the law. Everybody feared him.

The pair never got along well... As a matter of fact, they despised each other. Vance viewed Bruce as a spoiled little goodie-two-shoes and an easy target for bullying. Bruce viewed him as a no good, troublemaking asshole, mostly because he was constantly bullied by him, but in general too.

They'd butt heads every time they saw each other. They couldn't stop thinking about how much they hates each other. Couldn't stop thinking about each other... It was almost obsessive. Like... Crush worthy obsessive... The thought of them possibly having a crush on their BIGGEST rival never crossed their minds. Why would it? Apart from being totally infatuated with their "hate" for one another, they never would've guessed they'd liked each other. They didn't. Right? Oh, they did.

It was 7th period, the last period of the day. And unfortunately the one that Bruce shared with his most despised individual, Vance. It took a lot for Bruce to hate someone. So the fact that he hated Vance meant he must've been a REAL asshole.

Vance kept eyeing Bruce from across the classroom. Almost in a hatefully-admirable way...? The teacher announcing that there would be a group project snapped him out of his daze. After a while, she'd begun to announce the pairs.

"Let's see here... Bruce Yamada and Vance Hopper. You two will be working together. And--"

As she continued to pair students together, they both gave each other a dirty look. As class was soon dismissed by the bell, Bruce was upset with the news that he had been paired up with Vance. He didn't expect the blond to do ANY work, so he was already planning out the whole project in his head as he left the class. Vance had caught up with him and walked next to him...
