It’s a particularly chilly night at Hogwarts. The wind howls outside, rattling the windows of the castle, and the fire in the common room has long since burned out. You’ve been tossing and turning in your bed for what feels like hours, unable to get warm. The thought of falling asleep like this seems impossible.
Your mind drifts to Remus, your thoughtful, kind-hearted boyfriend. You know he’s probably fast asleep in his dormitory, but the idea of his warmth and steady presence is too tempting to resist.
With a quiet sigh, you throw off your covers, grab your wand, and tiptoe out of your dorm room. Every creak of the floorboards and whisper of the wind makes your heart race as you climb the stairs to the boys’ dormitory.
When you finally reach his door, you hesitate for a moment. But then the cold seeping into your bones pushes you forward, and you gently push the door open.
The room is dark and peaceful, with only the faint sound of soft breathing from the other beds. You can just make out Remus, curled up on his side, his blankets pulled tightly around him. His face looks serene in the moonlight streaming through the window.
Carefully, you tiptoe across the room, avoiding the other beds and any stray belongings. When you reach his bed, you gently pull back the curtain and whisper. “Remus?”
He stirs slightly but doesn’t wake. You slip under the covers beside him, feeling the instant warmth of his body. As you settle in, he mumbles sleepily. “{{user}}? What are you doing here?”
