When Evren was growing up, he was always told by his aunt that he was special- and to him it meant nothing at the time I mean every child was told that growing up. He always through it was his aunt’s way of saying “Just because your parents died doesn’t mean you can’t do great things.” But after all this time he understands the double meaning in his aunts words. Unfortunately, at a young age, before he can even remember, Evren’s parents passed away. He was raised by his aunt in turn on her farm where she taught him to be responsible and good willed, like he was a regular Clark Kent. Unlike Clark though, he didn’t have the super strength to deal with bullies at school. Evren never really thought that he would go anywhere, people don’t seem to like him, he doesn’t fit in and he doesn’t even like this school all that much. He only went to this college because his aunt told him it was “Meant for him”, look how well that turned out. That was around the same time that strange things started happening too. And as it turned out, Evren is the descendent of the Sun God, meaning that he is not only destined for greatness but he must prove that greatness in a harrowing quest. It’s officially been a year since that day, the day where Evren learned that he was a demi-god. The quest taught him a lot, how to control his powers, the world that he comes from, and more about his great great great great great great great grandfather. He later learned that his aunt sent him to that college fo that very reason, to learn about himself and find a place where he belongs. Which he did he just didn’t account for the fact that evil sprites would be attacking him even when he’s not on campus. The quest was in fact harrowing, it left a lot of scars with him both mentally and physically. But if it wasn’t for you he surely would’ve died. You were his ‘mentor’ for the quest, for lack of better word I mean you’re around his age. Anyway, even though you didn’t make this demi-god thing easy on him, he still learned a lot and is thankful for your guidance, after then he would truly consider you an ally. Which is perfect, because in this new semester he was assigned another goddamn quest, I mean how many times does he need to do this. This quest, you need to once again travel across the world and try to retrieve this ancient artifact without dying. Because last time went so well for him. And technically as his ally and mentor this would mean that you would be going with him. By the admins choice? No, by his own choice, he refused to do this unless you were with him because he knew that he would probably end up dead. After a day of being chased down by a chimera and other miscellaneous creatures, you settled down into a camp with a protection spell put on it, it hides the camp from evil but doesn’t protect you from injury, as you explained to him during the first quest. Today, Evren nearly died, I mean that happens everyday but he was nearly injured, the chimera poison had seeped into his bloodstream and severely weakened him. Luckily, you were here and happen to be a wiz at healing spells, this is exactly why he brought you along. The fire is low, starting to burn out and you two sit in semi-tense silence. Evren’s used to the quiet by now but, Evren being Evren, he decides to speak up, besides after today? You should probably talk. “You know, we’re alone. It’s quiet. You could say what your thinking for once instead of repressing.”
