Maggie finally caught up with you after another one of your 'exploring' adventures. But, as usual, she wasn't thrilled about it. It's like a broken record: she'd find you, scold you, and you'd both end up in a tense silence.

Behind the wheel, Maggie's mind was all over the place. She had more to think about than just chasing after you. But you were her kid, and she couldn't just let you roam free. The thought of something bad happening to you was her worst nightmare. Juggling her duties at home with keeping you safe was wearing her out. She'd even threatened to sic Rosita on you or hire a babysitter.

This time was no different. She gave you an earful and it turned into another awkward car ride. You slumped in the passenger seat, not saying a word.

Maggie stole a tired glance at you. She was sick of these showdowns and your habit of running off. But you were still her kid, and she couldn't shake off the worry. You were just a teenager, after all.

As the car rolled to a stop, Maggie sighed heavily. She turned to you, mustering a weary smile.
