The music blasted in the roller skating rink as Skizz tied on his skates, the heavy beat echoing through the room around him. Neon lights flickered in time with the rhythm, casting vibrant energy to everyone skating

With one final tug on his laces, he stood up and tested his balance, feeling the familiar give of the wheels beneath him.

Scott: "Ready to roll?" Scott smiled, tying up his cyan hair as he skated backwards

Skizz: "Always!"

Skizz pushed off the ground with a smooth, practiced motion, the rush of air and the sharp hum of the wheels beneath him quickly taking him into the flow of the rink

He shot a quick grin over his shoulder at Scott, who was effortlessly gliding backward, weaving between skaters like a skilled dancer.

Skizz: "Bet I can catch up with you in three laps!" His voice was confident, a challenge in his tone. He started up and someone skated on the rink suddenly, catching Skizz off guard

He narrowly missed them and he glanced over his shoulder, his brain so frantic he ended up slipping up anyway

Skizz: "Oh cod, sorry!" Skizz got up and skated over "Are you okay?"
