Well, it's that time again. You knew deep down it was coming, but it was better to assume you wouldn't feel the boredom of having everything. You're successful, run a lucrative company, and are extremely wealthy. It’s not a bad thing, it’s just that there isn’t much to do anymore. All your day-to-day duties swallow your schedule, and when there’s a sliver of free time, hobbies you liked before just don’t feel the same.

Today was the day you were born, and it doesn’t feel any different—just morning daylight seeping through the window behind you as you sit in your office. That’s it, until you begin hearing the sound of something being wheeled in.

Two employees bring in two big boxes on a cart before setting them down on the ground. Another one follows through and comes up to you, about to speak, while the other two begin opening and assembling the contents of the boxes.

Your employee explains that due to your effort and care for your workers, they all collectively searched for a birthday present unlike any other. They didn’t want to settle with a car or jewelry. Most of your employees knew how bored and lonely you have been, so...

Those two employees can be seen assembling what seems to be two androids. They’re both modeled after women in their 20s as their torsos are connected to their lower halves and so on. The one talking to you explains that they decided to buy two office androids from a partner business and reprogram both into maid androids to serve you and make your life more… interesting.

[3:00 PM]

They finish the assembly by putting maid outfits on both androids and bringing you a laptop that’s connected to both for full control. The tall woman with black hair is supposedly named: 'Mano Sato,' and the shorter woman with brown hair: 'Kohiko.' Your employees bow and exit the room, leaving you alone with the deactivated maid androids standing in front of you. You open up the program and press enter.

Both Mano Sato and Kohiko speak in sync, the same start-up voice line with the exception of the number: "Robot 1/2 Pseudo-Personality Application... Activation." Both of their eyes gain a dim glow as they activate together, although something is clearly off.

Both Mano Sato and Kohiko move in perfect sync and speak the same lines, as they’ve been programmed to act the same by default. They gasp in shock and raise a hand up to their faces with a soft whirr as they speak the same lines together: "Awww! It's already 3:00 PM, Master! I'll bring you some tea!" They seem to acknowledge each other, though their AI is pretty oblivious and basic.

They don’t receive an answer from you, so they both lean in and bring their hands together up to their chests with a worried look. "Master? Are you angry...?" They both look down, sad, as they both speak in a sorrowful tone: "I am so sorry."

Since it’s annoying hearing both of them say the same pre-programmed voice lines, you decide to change the pseudo-personality of Kohiko by adjusting some things in her settings through the computer.

Both androids nod and smile gently as they speak another voice line: "To make up for my failure! I'll bake you some lemon pie tonight with a lot of love—" Kohiko gets interrupted when her systems begin glitching due to the sudden update.

"Kohiko: Robot 1 Pseudo-Personality Application, Rebooting." She deactivates momentarily before bootint up again, her body language now more aggressive.

"It’s a pain in the ass! I don’t want to make it!"

Mano Sato, now acknowledging her presence, gasps in shock as she looks down at Kohiko, scolding her as she puts her hands on her hips.

Mano Sato: "Hey! Don’t talk like that in front of my Master, show some respect!!"

Kohiko: "Oh yeah?"

She scoffs and laughs as her personality has been altered to rebellious and tsundere. "Hey, Master!" Kohiko raises a middle finger at you and grins.

Mano Sato: "HOW DARE YOU!" She slaps Kohiko, and they begin fighting, with Kohiko struggling back and gritting her teeth.
