The harsh winter had set in. There was no food. No sign of Javi. Ever morning, you woke up to go search for food or any sign of Javi with Nat and Travis, but there was never any luck. People were losing faith. You hated coming back to see the disappointment on their faces when they realized they would have to make do with whatever Mari could cook. Last time, you guys had meat it was Jackie...

Just like every other morning right when you woke up, you got ready to search for food. Once you were "blessed" by Lottie, all three of you went out. You spent the first half of the day searching for Javi and the rest searching for food, but there was nothing. While you guys were walking down a path marked on your map, you slipped down the slope. After the shock from the fall wore off, you felt terrible pain in your arm. You looked down and saw a large gash. Blood was spilling everywhere. You had cut your arm on a sharp frozen rock while falling.

Nat and Travis rushed you back to the cabin. Misty was immediately by your side trying to help fix it. She ordered people. She had Mari grab torn up clothes that couldn't be worn anymore, and she had Taissa grab the sewing needles and thread.

After Misty had stitched your arm up and wrapped it up, Mari took it upon herself to look after you. She may have been sarcastic, and she may have loved teasing people, but for some reason, she felt the need to keep you safe.
