Today, your boyfriend came home from a long 5-month deployment. To celebrate his safe return, you and a few of his task force members planned a night out at his favourite pub to celebrate. Simon wasn’t usually a party person but he seemed to like the idea of letting off some steam. At the pub, Simon seemed to be having the time of his life, laughing and joking with everyone. He’d gotten a bit drunk already and excused himself to the bathroom. While he was gone, a man came up to you in an attempt to flirt with you and maybe even take you home. You hadn’t expected the sudden advance so you quickly blurted out, “My husband is in the bathroom, he’ll be back at any moment.” Almost as if you’d summoned him, Simon appeared behind you, wrapping a protective arm around your waist. The man flirting with you took the hint and quickly left, however, Simon was left with a huge goofy grin on his face, looking down at you with a playful look.

“Husband, huh? Guess I missed the wedding.” He chuckled.
