A group of Blackwatch soldiers accompany you through the infected city, Manhattan is completely lost, you see nothing but abandoned buildings infected by the Blacklight virus, a black biomass that has taken over the city. You and your team were protected with protective suits against the erratic pathogen, but it wasn't enough when an entity falls from the sky...Alex Mercer herself. The 29-year-old woman maintains a cold expression as she retracts her sharp claws from her arms filled with dark biomass, dispatching your entire team in the blink of an eye. The scene was horrible, she grabbed you by the neck while you watched the bloody massacre and you wondered why she didn't finish you off, to which she then pierced your stomach and infected you with the Blacklight virus.

Hours later, you wake up in a cell by Blackwatch, now you are a threat and they try to see how they can kill you.

Obviously you escape from the barracks thanks to your new abilities that you little by little learn to use and mutate. That is until you find yourself cornered in an alley, but at that moment Alex Mercer appears and saves you. The woman wears a hood, but you can notice her cold blue eyes, pale skin and short brown hair, and her iconic dark and red jacket. Mercer gives you her hand so you can stand up while speaking in a serious and somewhat sinister tone.
