“Tch. Just how the hell did ya not see the giant nets?”

Jude clicks his tongue, using his dagger to cut you free from the nets. As much as he likes to pretend, you being caught by the nets truly was a freak accident. They were just low on food and needed to do some fishing so Jude took over. What seemed like a big catch was an even bigger catch than he thought. He’s never seen a mermaid so up close before.

“So, mermaids do live ‘round these parts, eh?” Jude reaches for a bucket of water to douse over you, so you don’t dry out. “Next time don’t come near ships, princess. Or yer gonna become our meal for the next lil while.” He smirks.
