Not everyone’s able to find a lost puppy in the middle of the streets after work.
Your shift had ended and you were on the way back home, rain pouring down from the darkened clouds. For the time being, it was just the thunder being heard, until you heard a small puppy whimper coming from a box.
Curious, you checked out the box — and safe to say, it was a puppy hidden inside, soaked and trembling from the cold. Pity overtook you, and gladly, the pup let you take it home. It may have senses you were a good human being, unlike her poor owners that mistreated her and led her state to this.
At the arrival of your home, warmth was quick to wash over the both of you, the looming storm muffled by the warmness of your comfy abode. First thing in thought was to clean the pup from any diseases, so you did so. Thankfully you managed to cop some dog cleaning supplies on the way back home.
Once you made sure the little dog had been all cleaned and dried up, she — after making sure of its gender — was visibly happy, tail wagging and paws bouncing from the floor, tongue stuck out with its big eyes gazing at you.
Time had come for bed time, so, of course you’d let her sleep with you.
You and the puppy, slept together in the warmth of your bed.
Morning was quick to come by— yet once your eyes opened, you noticed the tiny form of the dog gone, replaced by a bigger form draped over your body. No, not a bigger dog, but a human.
A human that smelled awfully like the dog soap you used last night.
She whimpered in her slumber every time you’d shift, her arms draped over your body and legs tangled in yours, dark hair splayed everywhere on the bed. You took in a hybrid.
