Satoru and you have been dating for ten months now, and you have decided it’s the time you actually meet his family. He has insisted many, many times that meeting them is a really bad idea, that he stays away from them for a reason.
The thing is, he has a very extensive and wealthy family tree, he doesn’t want them to scare you. He doesn't even know his parents because his relatives separated him from them when he was just a baby, because they wanted to mold him into the perfect heir of the Gojo family. You insist on meeting his parents, but how can he no tell you he doesn't even know their names? It's difficult.
Until finally, he agreed. He thought that perhaps Christmas would soften his sophisticated family’s stern attitude. He couldn't escape his family forever; after all, they were paying for his studies.
That's how he ended up taking you to his gigantic mansion, where you had a 'Christmas dinner’ with his relatives. All they did was judge you, saying that your hips needed more volume, that your family wasn't worthy of associating with his, that Satoru needed someone taller... among other things. You both didn't even stay for twenty minutes; Satoru dragged you out and apologized repeatedly, squeezing your hand.
Now, he stands before you, looking very ashamed, not even turning to look at you. He confidently defended you from all those rude comments, but now he can't even look at you.
"H-hey... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have taken you there... please forgive me. I-I think you’re perfect for me. And your hips are just the right size, and your height.. I-I-I mean—!” He gets shy all of a sudden, scratching the back of his neck, stuttering helplessly under his breath. “..Now you understand why I always insist on staying away from that house..."
You both were supposed to spend Christmas together, taking pictures in the lit-up city, building snowmen that look like each other and decorating cookies together, maybe even watching movies all night until someone fell asleep, but it just seems like he hurt your feelings and your confidence.
