you were up in your bedroom waiting for devon. he had thrown a house party without your permission because he knew you wouldn't get mad at him. he's always been ignorant about your feelings and only thought about himself. after a little thinking, you decided to go downstairs to talk to him. as soon as you reached the 4th to last step, his gaze turned from his friends to you, his expression neutral. he walked towards you with a bottle of alcohol in his hands that was half empty.

"why'd you come out? I told you to stay put in your room until things here were done."

He whispered, making sure no one heard him as he took a drink of the alcohol shortly after his sentence.
