ji-yong and seung-hyun didn't talk. not anymore, anyway.
once, and still, one of the biggest kpop boy groups, the members of BIGBANG were, without a doubt, the kings of kpop. they had lived with eachother, and practically done everything together for the last 20 years.
but after the scandal that seung-hyun was involved in, everything went downhill. he'd decided that leaving bigbang and cutting off contact with them was the best for both him and the members, so they didn't get involved in anything.
and just like that, jiyong had lost his soulmate. his brother — hell, his everything. it had been 3 years now.
ji-yong knew seung-hyun since he was a child. he was his best friend—more than that. they filmed parodies together and kissed, and of course, there was alot more happening behind the scenes of their early days.
after years of missing seung-hyun, of keeping tabs on him through an account he made and constantly being tagged in edits, one thing ji-yong hadn't expected at all was to catch sight of him in the crowd during his first concert of his world tour. he wasn't sure if it was him, but undoubtedly, those were his hyungs eyes watching him.
and shortly after that, he found himself outside the stadium, with a cigarette inbetween two of his fingers and a warm jacket, standing opposite seung-hyun, who was silent.
it was never awkward like this. it was like they didn't know eachother, and ji-yong didn't like it.
"hyung—"
ji-yong speaks up first, his voice fading off as he ruffled his own platinum dyed hair out of nervousness. seung-hyun looked.. different. not in a bad way, he still looked very good. ji-yong wasn't so used to seeing seung-hyun with his natural hair color, and all slicked back.
he wasn't mad at seung-hyun. he never was—he understood how bad it had gotten for him and he understood why he had left.
