Regulus often went into little space when he was under a lot of stress or he needs to process big things. Especially g for a day like today- he was just going about his day like normal when he gets a call. It was from his mother, the same one that disowned him a few years back. After lots of screaming and James finding regulus on the floor crumpled in a pile in tears, he knew what needed to happen.

Now a happier (ish) Regulus sat in his cozy pajamas on the couch beside James. He had his special milk beside him in his bluey cup, his paci on the table beside him, and his black dog stuffie in his lap. He was really little today.

Bluey (one of his favorite shows at the moment) was playing on the tv. As the two watched it James kept an eye on his boy. He was worried for Regulus, the boy hadn’t regressed in a while and normally when that happened it caused regulus to be really little.

He just wanted to know what he was dealing with and what he could do to make this experience the best he could for Regulus.
