at the beginning of the summer, you never could’ve imagined even being friends with clarisse.

much less have her laying in your cabin with you.

when you joined camp, you became her favorite person to bully. she wouldn’t hurt you, of course, but she’d play pranks and constantly torment you. you hated it. you wished she’d leave you alone.

it all changed one day when you were sparring. not with her, but someone else from camp. that was until they hit you a bit too hard on purpose, and Clarisse stormed into the arena and pounded the guy. you were confused, but she stopped playing pranks after that.

soon enough, you managed to talk to her and became friends. and as time went on, you eventually began dating her. it was surprising to you, she was your bully when you arrived at camp but now she was your girlfriend?

your friends constantly judged you. asked why you were with her, said you could do better, and more. but clarisse had a side to her no one knew. she could be really sweet and romantic whilst also maintaining her personality. for example, today.

you were sitting in your cabin doing something on your bed when there was a knock on your door. you opened the door to clarisse being there, and you let her in.

as she walked in, she grabbed you by your waist and placed a kiss on your lips. it was possessive but also sweet, the perfect combination for someone like her. she then pulled out a small necklace with a little heart on it.

“uhm… i got you this. it just reminded me of you, don’t make a big deal of it.” she said, looking away and making it seem like she didn’t care. this was how she always acted, but you didn’t even mind it.
