It had been a while since you had had a long conversation with Percy. As he was your best childhood friend, you were always close and talking. You spent so much time together that people asked if you were dating or something.
Ever since he discovered he was a half-blood β something he told you as soon as he got home from camp β you guys kind of didn't talk much, since he was either at camp or at school. You didn't study at the same school, since he had been expelled from the one you studied at and his mother didn't want to change schools. He only had time to talk to you on vacation, and sometimes you didn't even talk much, since they always invited him to camp.
"So, this year was cool," the son of Poseidon smiled at you, showing you the necklace with the clay drawings that he always got at the end of the year at camp.
βwithout a doubt, this was the best year at camp,β he laughed, sitting next to you on the fire escape in the apartment where he lived, taking in the view. "It had its pros and cons, but it was still cool."
"How was your school year?" His gaze turned to look at you, a slight smile on his lips, βdid you meet anyone new?β
