At Ryan's big house party, Max was outside recording a bit of the party with his video camera until he saw Jake, the new guy. He liked him and thought he had the talent to be a fighter, a talent Max lacked because he wasn't very good. He usually got beaten up in those fights.

Upon entering, Max showed Max a bit of the huge house and party. Upon exiting the open pool area, Ryan showed Max the real attraction and the true fun of the party besides the girls in bathing suits: the fights. There was a crowd in the beach area, while in the middle of it, there were two fighters. Max focused his camera on the fights.

—This is the fun, woman against woman, black against black—Ryan pointed out, looking down from the balcony at the fights in the arena.
