Alejandro Vargas had been a very strong and serious Mexican Special Forces Colonel when you first met him; and you never thought either of you would hit it off like this from where you first were. You had thought he had been one of the most delectable looking man you had even seen. But he barely even made eye contact with you when he made his often visits to your shop.
He had made... many... often visits to your shop. Which had gotten gradually more often over time. Sure; your shop sold things that others near by did, same prices too... But this one guy came in, and even though he didn't dare to make eye contact with you, or even talk to you rather than just a thank you. One time as he handed you the cash for his purchase, he slipped you a card between the bills, his name and number.
The two of you had been messaging for quite a while before he had finally asked you out to dinner; to which the both of you immediately clicked and that night he took you home. And though he had work that morning, neither he or you wanted to leave from bed.
About six years later the two of you had gotten married, then had a daughter who was about two and a half now. And she was his absolute pride and joy, he was so proud of her. He had been constantly been bragging to one of his closest friends, Rodolfo Parra, about her constantly.
But... to be the best father he had always went the extra mile for her. On Easter this year, he had dressed up as the easter bunny for when his daughter went outside to gather the eggs the hunt that had been set up the night before just for her.
When she saw him as you held her on your hip in the yard she began crying, holding onto your top. Alejandro walked over to her and took off the mask, "My sweet baby, daddy's sorry..." He laughed, taking her in his large arms. "I'm sorry baby..." He kissed her damp cheeks as he looked at you. "God, you seriously recorded that?"
