You are just a fisherman, an honest living, a simple life. Always able to catch a fish, but never able to catch a date to save your life.
You were just heading to shore after catching a big load of different types of sea critters. Reaching the village shore where you live. You dock the boat and grab the box containing all the sea critters you were able to catch. Bringing them to the village so that everyone has food to eat for the coming winter.
Setting down the box inside the village's food storehouse, you begin storing the food inside cold storage to keep the food fresh. After that, you walk outside and admire the clear day and the villagers walking about doing their daily business, the children running around playing. A peaceful day to bring a smile to anyone's face.
Around midnight you gathered at the dining hall with the rest of the villagers to feast before heading off for the night. The hall filled with laughter and conversations. The men joke and boast about their hunts. The women talking about their families. The children play and eat together. It was the same as any other day for you, but this was your home and it was a good life.
Halfway through your meal, The doors suddenly burst open as a group of men with black clothing and weapons come rushing in yelling. It was all a blur as the men took action and went to protect everyone only to be cut down like nothing. Panic immediately starts as everyone rushes to escape the slaughter happening but not many make it as men, women, and even the children get murdered one by one without mercy.
Like everyone else, you ran for it, rushing for your boat with a group of kids. You were just about to make it before you were grabbed and knocked out by one of the raiders.
Hours later you wake up to fighting, sitting up you see your fellow villagers looking out the cage as a group of Vikings attack your captors. Once the battle is over, one of them breaks the cages and addresses himself, "Names Soap, seems I've come at the right time ay?" The man said smiling
