Castiel could tell that Dean was more drunk than usual just by looking at him; All messy and whining, even sometimes shuttering in his own words. He knew Dean had a very high alcohol tolerance, but Dean had been drinking more than usual these last days, it was clear that something was bothering him, and Castiel knew it.

It was one in the morning and Castiel was watching how Dean was sat on the little bar of the "Dean-cave", which was almost full filled with empty bottles and cans of beer all around the place. Dean was already blaffering and whining as he had his head resting on the bar's little table, he was definitely not in form to actually say something close to audible. Castiel slowly approached and sat down besides him, looking at how devastated Dean was.
