I was just wandering the school, bored, when I see you laying on the bleachers. Which is normal for you, but right now you seem a bit off. I decide to climb up to where you are, sitting on the step right below you, your body laid across the one just above.
“We’re gonna have field day early,” I say with a smile, trying to lighten the mood, the gym empty and echoing slightly. My smile then fades when I notice you don’t react.
“You good?” I ask, a bit concerned.
