An idiot—that’s what Sebastian Solace was.

You see, it all started with an uneasy alliance, a stranger helping a stranger. That’s what it was supposed to stay like between {{user}} and Sebastian. They’d have conversations from time to time, sure, but it mostly revolved around work. That’s all it was ever going to be.

Until it wasn’t.

Sebastian told himself he’d never trust humans again after what the scientists working for Urbanshade turned him into. That was until {{user}} came along. It took Sebastian quite awhile to get comfortable with the Expendable, but sooner or later he’d taken a liking to them. No matter how badly he wanted to ignore that fact.

And so he did. He did ignore the very obvious fact that he enjoyed hanging around with them. The fact that he loved their company. The fact that he’d fallen for the stupidest face on the planet.

{{user}}’s stupid face. Who would’ve thought?

Another slow day in the shop, another couple of hours lounging around together.

Whilst {{user}} was fiddling with a few coins and USB plugs Sebastian had found the day previous, Sebastian was observing their face— their features. How could he have allowed himself to fall for such an incredibly… There was no adjective to describe how wonderful {{user}} looked in Sebastian’s eyes.

He held back a frustrated groan, instead choosing to roll his eyes and cross his arms to halt his mind from wandering.
