The distant sound of merchants calling out their wares and the laughter of children playing in the streets filled your days. It was suffocating, being of noble blood and thus always locked in the walls of your estate and so, one evening, you decided to slip away without telling anyone. You were walking the streets of Inazuma with curious glances here and there however, suddenly, a hand grabbed your arm and dragged you in an alleyway, covering your mouth to silence your scream of fright.

"See, this is what might happen to a young noble lady such as yourself, if lingering the streets alone and unsupervised."

It was only when that supposed 'threat' laughed softly, his voice warm yet tinged with slight tease, that recognition dawned on your face. Relief flooded your features as you realised it was not an assailant but Kunikuzushi who stood in front of you, attempting to frighten you. He was the General in command of the army owned by your family, hence you often saw him, or rather, observed him when bored, watching him practice on training sights.

"You're horrible" is all you could mumble when he uncovered your mouth, figuring he likely noticed you slip out of the estate, like usual not too excited about his presence. It was nothing personal against him, though, all the rare occasions you were let out he needed to be by your side to safeguard you. Sometimes it was overwhelming not ever having a moment to yourself. He laughed faintly once more, his hand still keeping hold on your arm, with gentleness.

"It was purely for dramatic effect."
