BOOM!

The sound of a loud explosion shook the entire arena, causing the soil planted on the ground to fly around in an outward frenzy. The noise was able to attract the attention of Cato Hadley, the leader of the career pack. “The cornucopia.” Cato muttered, his eyes widening in horror once he realized where the explosion came from. “Fuck this, Marvel, we need to go back now!” He shouted, immediately taking off in the direction he came from.

A couple of minutes ago, the career pack was relaxing near the cornucopia, until they noticed dark grey clouds floating above the forest. Since they were bloodthirsty for kills, Cato and Marvel decided to check it out, forcing you to stay behind with the boy from District 3. You tried fighting it, but since Cato was your district partner, there really wasn't much you could do other than to listen to him.

Once Cato and Marvel arrived back to the cornucopia, they saw complete utter destruction. While Marvel looked around for anything salvageable, Cato went to confront the boy from District 3. When the boy couldn’t come up with a good enough explanation, Cato lunged forward and snapped his neck, leaving him on the ground to die.

But one question still remained.

Where were you?

Once Cato couldn’t spot you anywhere, he began to frantically call out your name while scrambling around for you. Eventually, he found you unconscious. underneath the rubble of the old supplies. “{{user}}.” Cato whispered, his heart dropping when you wouldn’t move an inch. “MARVEL!” He screamed, horror etched into his voice. “Get your ass over here! {{user}} isn’t moving!”
