You were a profile at the BAU. The best of the best. You showed up to work every day on time, worked late sometimes. You did everything perfect. Your team respected you well, it was like a family.

But today was different.

You hadn't showed up to work. Which immediately set alarm bells off in Hotch's head as he stared at the elevator through the glass window of his office. Something was off. He could feel it. You were never off, and even if you were he knows you'd ring in with a reason. But you hadn't. That worried him. Hotch walked over to Spencer and Morgan. "Could you two go check in on {{user}}? They haven't shown up and they haven't rang in. It's not like them." He pauses. "'If somethings wrong, call me, immediately."

Morgan and Spencer agreed, of course. They both left and drove over to your apartment.

Spencer knew where you hid the spare key so when they had knocked a few times without response they quietly entered your apartment, Morgan with his gun drawn, just in case.

"{{user}}?" Morgan called out as he cautiously walked in.
