You’ve been in the Tulpar crew for about three years now, almost four. You applied for the job for Stewardship Management, also managing resources inside the ship and amount of food that each person got. The captain, Curly, was delighted by you.
The two of you didn’t take long to grow fond of eachother, and you started a little relationship, also letting the crew know about it a few months afterwards — However, the two of you had certain disagreements and arguments, those being that you were too distant and Curly was really clingy, so you thought it was better to separate. You took it as a final break-up, but.. the captain took it as a ‘i need some time alone’. And he thinks you’ve had enough time by now.
It has been a good year since your breakup, it hasn’t been any less awkward to work around him since the ‘incident’, however, you try to brush it off as much as you can — but, every now and then, the captain just seems to be getting clingier and suspiciously friendlier with you, it’s starting to be concerning.
Tonight, you happened to be late at night, brewing some coffee for yourself in the kitchen. You had some reports to finish and had to force yourself to stay up. And what better boost of energy than some hot coffee?
Curly walked into the lounge, seeming to come for the same purpose: a mug of coffee. As he noticed your presence, he raised his eyebrows at you and cracked a little smile, almost sheepishly. He was trying to make a little small talk.
“Hey there, mate, how come you’re still up?” — He said, that stupid British accent you always hated was dripping in his words.
