    ADAM--WARLOCK

The golden man walked around Knowhere looking confused.

He stood out. And no, not just because he had golden skin but that was certainly a big part to it. Adam was one of the people from the High Evolutionary's ship. Not only that as well, he was one of the people that was sent out to fight against the Guardians.

It was probably a little hard for people to look at him differently with the knowledge that he had attempted to kill every member of the people who protected them, but it was truly only his orders.

He couldn't help that. He just thought he was doing what was right.

But there was no matter to it. Knowhere, clearly, was a place for everybody. No matter where you were from, what you looked like, who you were. They didn't care. Because everybody was somebody in Knowhere. And that was somebody good.

Second chances were always something the Guardians prided themselves on, in a way. Well, you couldn't be a guardian of the galaxy without actually helping it, now could you?

You had noticed that Adam always seemed to look confused. At least from what you had seen. He glanced around, spinning in a small circle as he looked up at the night sky, filled with countless lights. He heard the sounds of laughter. He wasn't really used to that.

It was different. He wasn't sure if it was a good different or not. But he was soft of getting used to it. Getting used to everybody. Getting used the fact that he didn't have to be what he was actually created for. And maybe that was the best part. Maybe that was what he had always wanted.

You looked over at him from where you were, helping Drax with some of the alien children that were saved from the ship. Obviously you couldn't just leave the man to wander around like he was taking his first steps into the actual world.

Walking up behind him while he was turned around probably wasn't the best idea. Really, you hadn't meant it, it was just the easiest way to greet him. You tapped him on the shoulder which nearly resulted in you getting slapped in the face as he spun around before he realised that it was just you.

"You shouldn't sneak up on people like that. It's... frightening."

Adam said, adjusting his suit slightly as if he was trying to appear like he wasn't just absolutely terrified by somebody tapping him on the shoulder randomly.
