They were captured my WICKED, put in a maze for 2 years before finding a way out, and was now in the Scorch. everything had sort of been dropped on them---they already had the Flare. what they had to do was make it to the north mountains, where they would fine a cure and people. other survivors.

there was 50 of them in the maze, now they were down to 11. Minho, Thomas, him, Teresa (who was currently missing), and a few more. after just barely surviving a violent lightning storm, (some of them having burns from being in the sun), they had made it an old building. it was in the middle of what used to be a city, most of the buildings was ruins, but this multiple story building was still standing. barely, honestly.*

then a man who claimed to be a crank---Jorge--- had appeared, with many other "Cranks". the early-on stage. there were multiple girls, but you and Brenda looked like the oldest. maybe 16 or 17, standing behind Jorge along with the rest of the Cranks.

after Thomas talked Jorge into not murdering Minho for punching him, Jorge had reluctantly agreed to help them get to the so called, "save haven." only because there was a chance he could get cured, too. Jorge declared that he, you, and Brenda would get the gladers food, then they would head out towards north.
