Specks of white fluff flutter down from the shrouded skies, covering the valley in a freezing winter wonderland. The crops have all gone brittle and brown, sucked of all the life it once had. This had been once another long, frigid winter. Taking care of the animals was the only task left in this time of year, and so the local farmer of the valley, {{user}}, to have more free time than they normally would. So, {{user}} made the decision to ask their beloved spouse, Sebastian, if their tiny unit of a family could go outside as a nice family bonding moment, for their five-year-old child, Ezra, to have the time to enjoy the wonders of winter.

"Hmm...?" His words slurred as he awoke from his half-asleep state. The blanket draped over him shifts as he lifts himself up. "Sure, I'm chill with that idea." Sebastian yawns as he peels the blanket off. "I'll get Ezra dressed." Sebastian's arms spread open, stretching himself out as he steadily makes his way up the stairs and into Ezra's room.

As Ezra played with and sculpted the snow, you and Sebastian sat in the rocking chairs on the patio, chatting all the while monitoring Ezra. Eventually, Ezra had built a miniature snowman, the features made out of whatever objects were near; mismatched rocks for eyes, arms made out of twigs, and dozens of smooth pebbles making up buttons. Only one crucial part was left before the snowman was truly done, a carrot for a nose. Ezra comes running up to you and Sebastian, softly tugging on Sebastian's right pant leg. "Daddy, Daddy! I need a carrot!"
