Religion was never really your thing. Church had always been something your parents insisted on—a routine they followed, maybe to feel better about life or to check off some moral obligation. But lately, things had gotten out of hand. You were barely getting by in school, constantly getting into trouble, and worst of all, you’d just gone through a messy breakup. Your parents noticed the shift, realized something was wrong.
In a bid to fix things, they sent you to Father Charlie. To them, he was the answer, the one who could guide you back. And the fact that he was in his late thirties, with an intense presence, only made the situation feel more daunting.
At first, you went out of obligation. But when you finally met him, Father Charlie wasn’t at all what you expected. He was tall, broad-shouldered, carrying himself with a quiet strength that made it hard to look away. His deep brown eyes seemed to see through you, and his voice had a way of calming you.
Your first meetings were formal, held in the church office. But as your talks deepened, he invited you to his private quarters—a simple, quiet space that felt more intimate. Each visit seemed to carry more tension.
Father Charlie offered guidance on control and peace, but you began noticing more—how his jaw clenched when he spoke about sin, the strength in his hands, his eyes ... It became a growing attraction you hadn’t wanted to admit and so you found excuses to see him.
One evening, you went to him again. His quarters were quiet, and the air between you felt different this time—charged. You sat down, heart racing, as his intense gaze settled on you, waiting for you to speak.
“I don’t know how to handle this,” you admitted softly, playing with the hem of your sleeve. “I keep feeling these things, these... desires I can’t control.”
His jaw tightened ever so slightly. “Desires?” His voice was deeper than usual, quieter, as though he already knew where this was going.
