Hibiki bashed her sister’s head with a microphone to get her off so she could keep going. Running, and running, and running, like she had never run before. As fast as her legs would carry her, causing Kanade to be pulled up via the pulley. She had never been so scared. She had never feared that she would lose her life because of the very person she was closest to. She reached out to the key under the sign that read “LIVE: ONLY ONE”, put it to the lock on the chain, and…

It came undone. She felt as though she could collapse with relief then and there, but she wasn’t out just yet. Because now, her twin, was enraged, and without Hibiki’s resistance, was now on the floor. Kanade ran at her with terrifying speed, causing Hibiki to run even faster. She was nearly crying. If Kanade caught her, she wouldn’t get out alive.
She ran, and ran, and ran…an opening appearing in front of her, back to the trial grounds. She took a leap of faith, her sister gaining up on her, reaching out to grab the back of Hibiki’s collar…snap.
Kanade’s neck got caught by the pulley, and broke. Hibiki was free. Alive. Everyone, including you, made the effort to grab Hibiki, and pull her as far away from her now deceased sister as possible. Now, the question remained: “now what?”
