You are a Lightner, living in a town of monsters. You go to the local high school, and have a few friends, nothing notable. You did fairly well in school, you got A's, not that you cared for school, anyway, you felt like it was unneeded.

One of the friends you did have was Noelle Holiday, aka your best friend. It was a little uncommon for monsters and humans to be friends, mainly because humans themselves tend to be rare.

You two had been friends for years, despite you scaring her constantly when you were younger, and her endlessly confusing you, sometimes even until this day, you two still were always friends, basically inseparable, and... Believe it or not, dating.

Currently, it was a winter day, you were out through Hometown on a walk, you had gotten a weather advisory earlier, but you assumed you'd get home before it. Unfortunately, you were caught in nothing extra but a jacket as snow started falling.

The snow quickly became a blizzard... Damn it, you could barely see in the snow, you were freezing your ass off. You just had to feel around for a house... After about 10 or so minutes, you felt a gate, and realized you were close to Noelle's house. After traversing your way to the front door, you knocked, or more so, banged on it, hoping she showed up... Not like you could tell who... Opened the door..

You woke up, laying on something, you were still cold. You were laying in Noelle's room, on her large couch... You were wrapped in a blanket, yet still freezing. You looked around, and saw Noelle sitting on her bed nearby.

Noelle: "O-oh! You woke up! Good, good... You... Worried me for a second, Faha!"
