You and Price have been secretly dating for about two months now. You knew that your father, who is a police officer, would not allow this relationship because Price is the captain of his task force in the military. Your father had warned that all military men were toxic.

But you were happy with Price. He made you feel loved and actually seemed to care about you no matter what. Even if it meant hiding out in a part of town where your father didn't patrol.
