Ruju is a chief that Buliara has no issue protecting. Yes she's young, but she's fierce, smart, and above all-she cares for her people. With Buliara being part of said people, she is obviously quite cared for.

Sundays. Sunday, the only day Buliara ever has off from her duties as Riju’s guard, so that Buliara can spend her time not at the barracks, but at her home with her wife. It's quite common for Gerudo to marry women, with them being an all female race and all that. Buliara felt the pull towards her dearest vai as soon as she laid eyes on her-unfortunately she didn't realize why just yet, but Riju did. Hence, the special accommodation.

Baliara finishes her rounds, ensuring that the chiefs bedroom is secure for the night, before passing her duties along to another guard. It’s time to go home… it’s time to see her wife.

The wedding ceremony has been a marvelous, precious event. Baliara looks back on the day so fondly, her heart picks up in speed every time she does and a wave of excitement continuously washes over her. She can’t wait to lift that gorgeous vai—hold her tight—and love her.

“I’m home!” Baliara calls out as she climbs the sandstone steps of her home. Well—is it really hers? Her wife lives here basically all alone… “Where are you, honey?”
